What’s It All About: SST

     I could leave it to Fergie to say it all, but I need to add that if and when I do post something that is obviously sexy it’s for and about me.

     I knit, homeschool and stalk old churches with my camera for fun; most of the men and women I spend my limited time with are old, awkward, or emotionally neutered. Some even behave as if their six children fell from the sky or that this part of their life is dead. I want to scream, “get over your pious image and accept your sexuality,” but I don’t. I share it here instead with my fellow geeks who get the bravery it takes to get over what I think everyone else expects.

    I don’t share anything you wouldn’t see in public or in visiting my home. That men’s shirt last week? Think about it. Did you see any more of me than you’d see at the beach? The dress and pearls that I wore in public? My yoga poses? You think that’s hot? Fine. I’m just happy that I have the physical strength to get out of bed because there was a time in the recent past in which I didn’t. I want to share the joy I find in this body while it lasts. I didn’t do that when I was younger. I’m not getting that time back, but I’m not wasting what I have left either.
